Cools and heats my attic/loft room ok. In summer I can still be a little too warm and in winter I am still a little too cold. Is still working after 3+ years without issue. Has a cool auto feature that could be useful in vacation homes or workshops....

Cannot compete with window units of the same BTU. Loud and you will notice when it kicks on and off. Must do maintenance evaporative system. Mine leaked at the end of the first year, couldn't figure out why so we just put in in a washer pan and pumped...

Off the bat, the AC worked without any problems. It did a rather good job cooling down a bedroom. So far 3 years with it and it still works, but there are problems which are beginning to build up which can be read in the cons.
