not a bad unit for the price ($599) had it for 1 year and took it back cause of faults, the vents wouldnt stay open properly, they came loose and would only point towards the sky or the floor, nowhere in between, and the digital readout on the top...

If you are getting one of these open the box at the shop and check it's not damaged... I haven't tried other portable air cons so can't say if it's better or worse than any others but it cools my study.

cheap option. air conditioner works well, but unit very heavy and heater not very good. very messy when draining water.
