This is a very good unit for cooling a couple of rooms, but the blower is very loud.

i had to buy this unit because my through wall hole is 26x18 and this is the only AC with those dimentions.  The old AC i replaced was from the 1970s and it was loud and inefficient.  I really thought they would have invented a way to make these things...

This unit worked well for 3 years but it has stoped cooling and the cost of getting it repaired is not worth it.

We had a large Kenmore air conditioner that quit after 20 trouble-free years, and so we bought another.This one is poor. It is much noisier than the old unit, and has died in its second season of use (at most 6 weeks of actual operation).
