LG 12,000 BTU Heat/Cool Window Air Conditioner w/ Remote

I mounted this united in my garage, cut a hole in the steal door which is filled with foam filled, (added some long screws to the hinges) It cools down the room which is 20 by 25 feet in no time.

Installed unit in workshop. Works well up to about 95 degrees outside. Have not used heat . Not as loud as other units I have been around. Overall good choice and would buy again.

In a upstairs garage apartment with basically no insulation, it seems to work very well. Its only been up around 90 degrees so far, so we'll see how it fares in the dog days of summer when its 100+. I expect to be cool as a cucumber.

This is just what we wanted a unit that heats and cools with out costing us thousands of dollars. We use it in a one room lunch house.

unit runs well it would be nice if the fan would shut off when running in the heat cycle could be more efficient if this was the case other than that it is a good unit iam using it in a tool room in my shop

The unit is what I expected, however, support brackets and a protective grill for the condenser should be included in the box.

I was impressed with the price and fast delivery. It even cool more efficiantly then my Kenmore ever did.
