The Fitbit Charge 5 makes an big upgrade by adding a colour screen – something Fitbit should have brought to the Charge a long time ago.
Vibrant colour display ; Comfortable strap ; Added ECG sensor
Screen responsiveness a little temperamental ; ECG and Daily Readiness Scores not available (yet) ; GPS accuracy not great

The Fitbit Charge 5 is the brand's most advanced tracker yet. It has a new look and an impressive feature list packed into a wearable, user-friendly design.
“The new-and-improved Fitbit Charge 5 delivers everything you could want in an advanced fitness tracker.”

The feature-rich Fitbit Charge 5 dazzles with its AMOLED screen but might be too expensive for most
AMOLED screen is pretty ; 6-month Fitbit Premium subscription included in the price ; Excellent sleep tracking capabilities ; Comfortable to wear ; Daily Readiness Score is a good addition
HR tracking/GPS issues ; Expensive
The Fitbit Charge 5 is not a cheap fitness tracker but for the price, you get a fitness wearable that can track ECG and stress, tells you your Daily Readiness Score, counts Active Zone Minutes and has a beautiful (albeit a bit small) AMOLED screen.

The Fitbit Charge 5 is a feature-packed fitness tracker made with gym-goers in mind
On-board GPS ; Excellent heart rate monitoring ; Clean, simple interface ; Contactless payments
No music controls ; Limited on-screen workout data ; Some features missing at launch
The Fitbit Charge 5 is a really comprehensive fitness tracker, and perhaps the best “true” fitness tracker we’ved tried so far. It pulls together the best features of Fitbit's current lineup in one neat device. You get on-board GPS for tracking runs...

The Fitbit Charge 5 takes the best parts of Fitbit's recent smartwatches and packs them into a smaller size for a lot less money.
Bright color screen is easy to read ; High and low heart-rate alerts ; Strong sleep tracking ; Built-in GPS
Daily Readiness Score and ECG not available yet ; No altimeter for elevation tracking ; No music playback control

With an always-on color touch screen, a sleeker design, and new health tracking features, the Charge 5 is a significant upgrade over the previous model and Fitbit's best fitness tracker yet.

This tracker brings some of the best features across the Fitbit portfolio into one package, making it a very appealing choice.
Lovely OLED display ; Solid performance ; Built-in GPS ; Good battery life ; Fitbit app is excellent ; Comfortable to wear ; Great heart-rate monitoring and sleep tracking
No music control ; Exercise options could be expanded ; Display could be bigger ; Some features not available at launch
Not the cheapest fitness tracker available, but it's definitely Fitbit's best - offering a fantastic blend of features, design, battery life and price.

With the Charge 5, Fitbit is addressing some major gripes with its predecessor and bringing in more features from its smartwatches
Finally gets a screen upgrade ; Comfortable to wear 24/7 ; Easy to use interface ; Solid heart rate monitoring
ECG sensor is not usable (yet) ; Daily Readiness Scores not live yet ; Data insights locked behind Fitbit Premium ; Iffy sports tracking accuracy
When the Charge 5 gets its most exciting health features turned on, it’ll be a tracker with big appeal for anyone that wants to pay closer attention to their health beyond tracking steps and runs

FitBit is back with an updated version of its ubiquitous fitness tracker. Does it still offer enough features to be considered as one of the best in the business?
— Vibrant display, and plenty of fitness and health features for a tracker
— Some promised features still missing
The FitBit Charge 5 packs in just enough upgrades to give it an ideal level of versatility as a fitness and health aid. There’s still room for improvement, notably to features that were promised but not implemented at launch, but it’s still a winner of...
