Mustek Plug-N-Scan 1200 UB

 

The 1200 UB is a compact scanner for space-limited home or SOHO users looking for an inexpensive, easy-to-use, entry-level unit. But if speed and image quality are your priorities, the equally diminutive Canon CanoScan FB 630P is a better performer.

Good Scanner But You Get What You Pay For

 

Ever hear the term "you get what you pay for?" Well thats pretty much how I sum up the Mustek 1200CP.

Cheap, easy to use, XP compatible.

Slow, software bundle stinks, scans dark, no USB, unheard of manufacter.

Don't waste your money if this is your 1st scanner

 

I got this scanner as a gift a few years ago. I found it hard to install. Customer Service for Mustek was MIA. The only information I could get was from Mustek's web site.

NOT A GOOD 1st scanner....it is hard to install, manual not detailed enough

Cheap AND Easy

 

After having all the problems I had with the HP 5300C Series, I was a little wary about purchasing another scanner. But I did it. I was at Walmart of all places and found one that I thought I might be able to use.

High Quality Scans, Easy to Use, Very Cheap
