Says it is HD conversion from an analogue signal.

Box is stubborn and won't display the menu, or channels. It is very slow and painful to search channel by channel. Not much difference noted between HD an SD from my Newwave SD box.

It has a clear sharp picture

Found it easy to operate and set up. Am using it with an LG 106cm Plasma TV and it made a significant improvement to the picture over a standard definition box. Remote works with various televisions.

Unit is a little large.

I found the programming and the remote easy to use and the instructions are very clear

Easy to use. Very good quality. Also LG service was great. When I had a difficult to setup initially, LG service explained so details kindly.

Switching between channels can be slow. First two boxes failed on the DVI output. Just hoping the current box hangs out for the rest of its life.

Easy to look at aeasy to use and even easier to connect all the cables provided you dont want to connect Foxtel as well. The TV picture without the HD box is ordinary but when the 4100P is powered up the picture comes alive. Colour and sound are supurb.

The only problem I had, was trying to connect Foxtel cable. I had to buy an Audio/Video switch box to select the Foxtel, it's difficult to explain, but without it the audio was out of sync with the video signal on the TV. So when switching between...
