no printed manual.... update is hard to do (Yamaha mailed me the disk but I havn't tried to update it yet). A few second lag time between hearing and seeing the TV (when first turning it on)but it is so short it is not a bad thing

The YPOA gives intermittent reverse phase errors when setting up the speakers ; If weight is a positive then this reciever doesn't weigh as much as the VSX-1017 it replaced...but i don't hear any difference at normal listening volumes
