Bought this unit from Newegg to store and play AVI downloads on my 50" 720p Plasma Samsung ; As everyone has said the owners manual leaves a lot to be desired but the unit itself more than makes up for the manual and besides there is an excellent...

I'm having a hard time thinking of any pros for this product. I could say the hard drive was easy to install...but I'm just trying to be nice.

The player itself is virtually useless. The User Interface isn't designed well, and is extremely difficult to use; it doesn't have much functionality. If you're not a computer engineer, I couldn't advise against purchasing this product more.

installed hard drive with existing content and it plays with no problems on a tv. connected to a pc using usb and pc sees it without a hitch able transfer files just like any other external.

tried to network it and it has a popup that asks for net id and password, but my network has none so i cant conect to any computers on network nor does any computer see the drive. very dissapointed.

Had for 2 months, running almost nonstop. I have a Seagate 1TB in it, with a little more then 500 avi, xvid movies on it. Networking is OK to download file to it from the Media player it self, a little slow. The USB works a little faster on downloading...

Haven't been able to figure out how to access the media player from a computer on the network, to up load files to the media drive. Menu is a little slow, but look at what it is doing
