The monitor is bright, clear and good looking. The brightness and contrast is much better than the cheap LCD it replaced. The price was affordable and newegg delivered it promptly

Only down side was there was 1 green pixel, but after a gentle massage, the pixel returned to normal operation

Great monitor for the price, and the price just dropped. Wanted a monitor with the same height as my old 19", but did not want to go "large." No dead pixals etc. It does a good job with text, even at high resolutions. Worked great right out of the box...

No real "cons." I've gotten use to "graphics grade" monitors at twice (or more) the price. The color and controls are fine, and one can't expect this monitor to compete with high-end units
