I purchased this blender a few months ago and it works and looks great! I love the real glass jar (a lot seem to be plastic now.) And it's very easy to clean.  And the price can't be beat! The only thing I wasn't happy about is how loud it is.  I guess...

Kenmore Elite Blender

This blender is so loud we have started using ear plugs when we use it. The blender always leaks. Also, with the supposedly high powered motor, it will not get all the lumps out of a yogurt and banana smoothie (no ice). It is truly a piece of junk.

This item should have lasted MUCH longer than it did for the money. I had the same issue everyone else had. The bottom piece sheared off shortly after purchase. I will be taking it back for a refund and put my money towards something with a little more...
