This product is called a kit, but when I received it all it is is a filter. Don't know why it isn't just called a charcoal 'filter'. I expected something more for [$] and thought at first I had received the wrong item.

Make sure you check your microwave documentation for the right model number of the kit you need.I was sure that another model number would fit when I saw it, but it was a half inch to big.Order this and it was just right.

This charcoal filter does work, but the price tag is too high although [...] offers the lowest price on the net. GE should stop taking advantage of customers.
