good zoom range , well made feels substantial ,fast AF

pictures not as sharp as previous 18-270 Tamron , focus ring can be turned accidentally knocking your focus off ,heavy for such a small lens

It is worth it and covers the full range of everything you need but for zooming and detailed cover, you need to really read your camera manual, is it not simple to use.

Tamron 16-300mm

 

I have got significantly better stability with this than my previous 18-250 (not IS) lens.

At 300mm zoom, there is noticeable chromatic aberration (purple-green fringing). This is easily removed in Lightroom or similar software.

Great lens and very easy to use. The only issue is it is slightly heavy but overall the product is so good this can easily be over looked.

I bought this purely to take on holiday. Didn't want to carry around loads of kit. Foe that purpose this lens is fine.

For the purpose I'm using it for there are no bad points.

Nice compact relatively light weight lens covering a wide focal range. Nice and quiet focusing motors which focus quickly.
