Used with my 18-200mm lens to minimise any possible flare. It is a standard petal type lens hood, easily attached and fits reversed for stowage when not in use. Really should have come supplied with the lens.

It fits \'back to front\' for storage and easy access.

There was no flaring on any of the images taken with this lens however when using the built in flash on the Canon 7D when the lens hood was fitted at the wide angle end of the 18-200mm there was a shadow cast from the lens hood.
