Corsair H5

 

I got these for free on a promo deal on their corsair vengeance k95 keyboard. Personally, I would not have picked them up, but since I have them, I will use them.

The speakers they used are pretty good and the construction of the muffs are fairly comfortable ; They come with 3.5mm jacks, but have an adapter to make them USB usable ; Independent volume controls for each ear

The blinking blue light. It can't be turned off, it blinks fairly fast and is a brilliant blue color. It's horrible... especially if you're playing a game in a dark room. It actually got somewhat painful to have it connected ; The mic was very quiet...

CORSAIR HAS YET TO PROVIDE A SOLUTION DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, GET A DIFFERENT HEADSET.

Speaker quality rocks ; Comfortable ; Long cord

MIC IS TERRIBLE!!!!! ON PROGRAMS LIKE TEAMSPEAK AND SKYPE, IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR TALKING THROUGH A TIN CAN ; SOFTWARE FOR HEADSET IS NOT HELPFUL AND OUTDATED ; MANY OTHERS ON CORSAIR SUPPORT FORUMS HAVE HAD THE SAME ISSUE

Microphone quality is atrocious

 

I originally got this headset as a replacement for my broken X11. Unfortunately the microphone on these are not that great and I have to plug in the microphone part of the X11 and lay it on my desk so I can talk to people in various chat programs. Also...

Sound quality is great ; Headset feels well made and sturdy ; Ear pieces are comfy

Mic is just horrible. I'm told that it sounds like I'm talking in another room or far away from my mic

Decent Headset

 

Bought this as a replacement of a cheaper headset that lasted me ~3 years. I like it, but do wish the Mic was better. Sound quality is quite nice. Never got my rebate, which is annnoying.

Overall decent headset. Quite loud and comfortable, blocks a lot of outside noise, comes with carrying case, and good sound quality

The Mic sucks. As in, no one can understand you at all. Nor do I think it is just me who has had this problem. That being said, I have a webcam mic, so it wasn't a problem. The software it uses can be bothersome

Solid 5.1 Headset

 

I am VERY impressed with this headset, since my motherboard has a sound system built in, I specifically looked for a surround sound headset that would work with the 3.5mm analog output and I have a backup USB 5.1 digital capability as well. Best of...

Surround 5.1 audio either with 3.5mm analog connector or USB. Solid construction, quality materials. Room for large ears, fits big heads
