Works fantastic, and at approx. $100 cheaper than the Sunbeam VS7800, this is excellent value. Excellent even for marinating meat, chicken etc..... the marinade flavours really get drawn in to the meat. I'm throwing away far less food than I had...

I bought this and I love it, I especially like that you can seal without the vacuum, I use to seal bread and freeze. You can interrupt the vacuum, so it only seals a little and does not crush the bread I had another brand before (Sunbeam food saver)...

its awsome, i cant beleive the savings on food as we waste so little these days. Its excellent for packing meat , bacon etc for camping. Less mess too. We can fit so much more stuff in the eski as well !!!!

so it functions as a normal airtight container when not used with vac pro. The main unit seems solid. good shape and size, not too big. The cord can be tucked underneath. It has good suction power, as I discovered when removing air from a soft drink...
