Bought as a replacement for a 30 year old freezer, used for storing surplus fruit and vegetables grown in the garden. Looking forward to the electricity bills shrinking! So far appears to be a good buy at an excellent price.

I bought this model to save running costs. My old freezer, which was 40 years old, was costing about £110 per year to run. The Bosch uses less electricity, and should repay its purchase cost in less than 4 years. Present measurements of electricity...

The additional insulation necessary to reduce electricity consumption mean that the internal width is reduced. A better compromise would have been to increase the overall front to back dimension slightly.
