Handle does not fit securely after door reversal

This was the only freezer I could find that said it would be ok outside in the garage. Previously had a LEC which lasted 25 years, then bought a Hotpoint that only lasted a year! So far, this has proved to be excellent, so delighted

It is the only freezer we could find that is rated for use in an unheated environment e.g a garage. We had had problems with a Beko product before, but were forced to buy this one for the reason given.

It came with the door hinged on the wrong side. After swapping the door over, the handle could not be fitted on the other side as thread inserts were not fitted, despite the handbook saying this was possible. The technician ended by bodging the handle...

The freezer door has to be opened to see control lights. No temperature read out. Incomplete assembly. Manual incorrect. Badly fitted drawer. Very slow and poor customer service from BEKO.

The annoying alarm when the door has been open for only a few seconds - we know it is open as we opened it!

Alarm goes off too quickly when door is open (loading up freezer),not exactly bad, but annoying, and alarm would be no good to me anyhow as freezer is in garage so wouldn't hear it if the door was left open accidentally.
