Just what I needed, did everything it said it would, arrived quickly and very easy to set up.

Much cheaper than an off-the-shelf. Powerful components means this pc is a truly great piece of kit. Dont be put off by refurbished pcs, this is the second in our household and they're both great. Try and get the 3.2ghz i5 6gb ram model if possible.

Hp software clogs the system unnecessarily to start with.

Came pre-loaded with Windows 7, but no other software available. would have liked option of Microsoft Office package.

No documentation or discs provided in the box so you need to know how to get started. Machine was dusty inside - so had been previously run but not cleaned up.

Fast machine, good graphics and a reasonable software package including Windows Media Centre, DVD burning, Norton & MS Office trial packages. Plug & Play works as advertised.

Brought two refurb computers had to take them both back within 3 days as they both kept freezing, then was told that they can not be fixed so a hugh waste of time with these PCs.

It works and is quiet when it's on

It has a faulty chip set in it that HP have notified me after my purchase and now after setting it all up and uploading all my files, I have to send it off to have it replaced and therefore taking all the files off again :-(
