Dud

Well I assumed this should be a pretty standard return with Newegg. After all of the great customer experience reviews I find on this website. Well anyway I RMA'd and shipped it out. Well since I did have it up and running I had thrown the original box...

The unit mostly worked as advertised while it worked. My primary use was to use as a HTPC

I tried to load with a XBMCbuntu but for some reason this unit would not load that OS properly....that should have tipped me off. Anyway I conceded to load another flavor of Ubuntu and then just run XBMC on top of that. It did this reasonably well...

DOA

I went with another manufacturer ITX FM1 board and AMD A6 processor. Only a small bump in cost for much better performance.

NA

Received a defective board. The system would not boot. Foxconn support was quick to reply to my support request and provide troubleshooting but nothing worked and I was forced to RMA the system

love these things

good box... i'm buying 20-50 more soon.

zippy little things. Ordered 5 to test to possibly outfit a school and a medical office. use ssd's... windows 7 64 bit boots and gets to the login screen in about 10 seconds. runs on fumes, I would prefer linux on these guys, but clients usually want...

1 out of 5 was DOA but the RMA process was painless and I will be purchasing about 20 more. The card reader is taking up the spot that would normally hold the 2.5 ssd. no matter what you do or where you decide to mount the SSD you will have to get out...

Decent and nice looking case

Very nice to look at, makes a good HTPC. the DVD drive cover is pretty useless because the eject button on the case won't line up with that of the DVD drive. Had to use Win command to eject, but for OS installation, however, i had to actually use a...

good looking case, price, easy instructions for installation, light, form factor

SATA cables too short, cable management, DVD drive cover, a bit too slow for a 1.6ghz processor, dual core

Great Office Computer

Great everyday office computer, low power consumption and very responsive.

Great everyday office computer, throw in 8gb ddr3 ram, 128gb Crucial SSD and DVD writer and our accountant was happy. Run Peachtree, excel, word with several windows and browsers open with no problems in Windows 7 64bit. Internet download speed went up...

Price went up ridiculously after I bought 2 units

Cheap XBMC platform

I used this with 2GB of memory and a 4GB flash drive to make a complete HTPC appliance with linux and XBMC. It works very well. Openelec can be setup in minutes, and a more custom install of Fedora worked even better.

Very affordable, reasonable performance, and it runs XBMC on a stripped down linux off a flash drive very well. Most recent linux distros support the fusion platform very well, Openelec even has a build for the fusion platform ; It looks nice, and fits...

The chassis is tight. Not a fan of the fanless. Runs hotter than I expected, and I may install additional cooling

good, but chassis isn't the best

ok for a barebones HTPC, added my own drives and RAM and I was set. However, if I had to do it all over again and had a bit more money, I'd buy the board/CPU separately and get a different case.

great price, comparable to Atom boxes with older technology. No issues with drivers. hardware all appears to function properly. has an intake fan on the side, which I didn't see or read about. Included card reader is a bonus

two parts ; board ; gets a bit hotter than I'm used to. not a fan of passive cooling, may cram an exhaust fan under the top vent ; chassis ; cable management" is awful. the included SATA cables were short enough to be absolutely useless (had to use my...

Nice little machine

Small size. Ability to have DVD burner installed. Nicely sized for HTPC or a desktop for a tight space

Front panel latches are made of thin plastic - easy to brake. Windows 7 install disk did not see the hard drive and it did not take provided driver. I had to rebuild my installation media and integrate SATA driver into it using vLite

Pretty good

Got this with G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) earlier this week with promo code for less than $200. There is room in the case for a full size dvd rom, 3.5" hdd mounts sideway under the dvd housing. The front half of the other drive bay is used...

Don't get memory like what I got. The heat spreader sits too high and I had to cut off the back of the dvd housing to get it to fit. I was not planning on using an internal dvd with this built anyway, so it work out for me
