Dell's OptiPlex line isn't quite as impressive as IBM's ThinkCentre family, but it's a viable option that comes close.

Very inexpensive. Will run XP okay, but you need to remove the extra animated menus and stuff. It's a small package that you can shove most places. We had about 300 of these at one point with ZERO motherboard problems. Graphics, NIC, and HD's, but...

These things are dead-slow. They also require maintenance on a regular basis. To make matters worse, they are plagued with bad motherboard issues. Dell had a recall for motherboard, but the recall window closed in 2008

It has a small form factor

We bought 8 of these. Four died because of the bad capacitor issue ; These are the only bad Dell computers I've seen

None. Really. None. For $120 you're better off getting a refurb laptop -- same overall power with lots more reliability and an even more impressive "small" form factor. ;)
