The redesigned ; fixes some drawbacks from the already-excellent previous version, plus adds multitouch operation to an already impressive bag of input tricks.

There's still no interface for sharing/migrating saved settings or allowing third parties to provide preconfigured application-specific settings. Also, the heads-up display trigger is a little too sensitive.

Though it doesn't add any new graphics-specific capabilities over its predecessor, the Wacom Intuos5 input tablet remains a must-have for digital brushworkers.

Alongside these minor cosmetic changes is the major upgrade in the form of gestures. Already a feature on the beginner Bamboo tablet, it offers up to 16-point multi-touch gestures for collaborative working – although how you would use all those points...

Portable, ease of use, ink is a great feature. The more I use it the better it gets.

Some touch gestures not as responsive as mac trackpad. But this is only a minor gripe. Working area smaller than it looks, bit still big enough.

Absolutely excellent, very impressed, the connection was seamless and as promised, the pen picked up the pressure and tilt applied. The best feature of all, was the pen, it's very ergonomic and comfortable and a pleasure to use.

Although interaction was seamless, it was a little difficult to customise the Express Keys, and takes some time. The pen can also be a little glitchy at times, jumping places, but this is solved if you disable touch.
