We shot footage with this camcorder in a variety of situations. We shot a studio model with controlled lighting, in bright midday light on a golf course, at 10,000 feet in a national park, in deep woods with fall colors and snowmobiles in action....

AUDIO! Picture quality is incredible, just keep the lens clean.

They don't make this camera anymore.

When used in memory card mode to take stills it produces great clear quality.

Sound can be a bit of a problem, not as good as expected

Great low-light sensitivity, reliable workhorse, both DVCAM and dv format, seamless compatibility

Non-interchangeable lens requires adapter for wide-angle, very early first models had hiss problems.
