Useful paperweight

Piece of JUNK! Failed and continued failing. Even at this price, it's not worth the trouble ; Worse--HP's customer support is worse than useless. They are a waste of time ; Happily, this printer is still returnable

I certainly like the output, and production, just wish they could of cut out some of the unneeded extra moving mess, as the printer functions great, just too loud to be considered a "great product" only good IMO.

Easy HP setup - great output of product. Software is good, and time needed to connect all parts is not too time consuming

Loud, seems abnormally loud! Before first print job, the printer goes into convulsions for about 5-8 mins "warming" up. Even after the print job, it seems to continually "wind down" making equal amount of noise, and functions

I'd buy it again.

I had it setup in 20 minutes with all features working on Ubuntu. I just installed hplip through the repository, and it is printing over wifi. Scanning is done through a browser interface, and works fantastically. Bonus points for being pretty well constr...

Duplex printing does take a long time because it has to let the pages dry (about 15 seconds each), before it sucks them back in to print the other side. I won't use that feature often, so I'm not taking an egg off
